旅美投手陳偉殷昨天剛剛先發出賽，主投8局沒有失分，拿下今年第3勝，狀況正火燙的時候，結果今天就傳出下放小聯盟的消息，原因是球團要挪出一個位置，給升上大聯盟的外野手，雖然這是一個技術性下放，但是對於一位王牌投手來說，感覺不受尊重，陳偉殷也在臉書上說，感到非常失望。
陳偉殷精采守備，連主播都大聲叫好，他的狀況on fire，無人能擋，對手頻頻被三振，陳偉殷主投8局，沒有失分，第3勝紮實到手，旅美球員陳偉殷：「當然是心情上面會有些不太一樣，但是不管怎麼樣，就是自己該做的事情，做好就好了，那內容當然是最重要的，那接下來才是勝投。」
陳偉殷無傷無痛，狀況正在顛峰，但是球團卻什麼下放小聯盟，陳偉殷也在臉書上說非常失望，球迷更是罵慘了，對於一位王牌來說，感覺不受尊重，美國職棒專家袁定文：「今年陳偉殷現階段是，對球隊可以說是投得最穩的，對球隊貢獻最大的投手，他已經第四年在大聯盟了，最近狀況特別好，前一場比賽，他大概投了今年球季最佳的一場比賽，所以這樣把他放下去，非常非常不尊重的意思。」
